There is no licensing for this new industry, so many companies are fraudulent and waste clients’ money. Some are so careless that they even get their unsuspecting clients’ websites blacklisted from search engines like Google. The owners of SEOhaus saw this “snake oil” image of SEO and wanted to change it. Using their experience working with the world’s largest search engine, they began optimizing their own website and experiencing online success. Soon, other companies saw the organic achievements of the DVD rental company and they were quickly acquired.
The owners of SEOhaus began SEO consulting and soon offered it as an agency best-of-practice service. Today SEOhaus is a top ten nationally ranked SEO company (TopSEOs) and the managers use their expertise with Google and bad experience with futile SEO campaigns to enhance the image of SEO companies and build trust for consumers.
